This is a vintage black beaded evening clutch, made in Belgium expressly for Joseph Horne Co. of Pittsburgh. The purse features intricate hand-applied seed bead detailing with a swirling pattern, a brass kiss clasp, and a purple satin interior lining. A fine example of mid-century Belgian craftsmanship, often sold through upscale American department stores. The bag shows some light wear including bead loss in small areas, clasp tarnish, and signs of age to the lining, but remains structurally sound and displayable.
